A booking deposit of €200 is required to secure your booking. Deposit can be sent via Bank Transfer, by Credit or Debit card via Splink (Simple payment link) or by cheque, postal order or bank draft. Upon receipt of deposit your booking will be confirmed by Nicola via email.

If you would like to see us at a wedding, you will receive a list of our our upcoming weddings by County only. If a particular date suits, for example, Sligo on March 10th, Nicola will ask the couple in question if they mind you popping in for a listen. If they are happy to allow, Nicola will provide you with the venue details.

If the couple are unhappy to allow, unfortunately we cannot provide details as the night is dedicated to the wedding couple. Most couples are happy to allow a couple to pop in for a listen but we always check to be sure.

The Cosmonauts arrive to every venue at 8pm. If a different arrival time is required, please chat to Nicola.

As soon as your meal and speeches are finished the band load in and are ready to start within 35-40 minutes depending on the access to the stage.

The Cosmonauts provide a 3 hour live set with a break of 15 minutes. This break is taken when the venue are serving food and tea/coffee.

Please note, if there is a delay in start time, due to long speeches or delayed dinner service, we may have to shorten the live set slightly to accommodate Dj set. We will always play as long as possible.

We pride ourselves in being able to entertain all age groups. We will play when we feel will keep your dance floor full all night. We play Jives, Waltz’s, quicksteps, Irish country, pop, rock, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s all are always up to date with the most current chart toppers.

Yes, we love to learn your first dance and play it live. Sometimes a couple request the original version of their song played via MP3. We can have it downloaded and ready to play via our system. If you have chosen a song that the band cannot replicate, for example- a song recorded with a 40 piece orchestra, we may suggest playing the original version.

Yes, we are a real band and play together all the time. We can only perform at one wedding per day. It will always be the same band members. We are proud members of Wedding Band Association. In the event of serious illness or a family bereavement, we have professional musicians rehearsed and available at short notice to step in.

Yes we provide a seamless transition from Band to DJ keeping the dance floor full. We do not repeat any songs already played by the band and accommodate all styles of music and requests.
